Back at JJPS – We’re delighted to welcome Sandra Pjevac back to our team after her parental leave

Sandra is a true Berliner.

 

After studying medicine and completing important stages of her medical training in Göttingen, Potsdam, at Charité in Berlin, and in St. Gallen, Switzerland, she returned to her hometown and supports the JJPS medical team with her solid training in plastic surgery and her particular expertise in minimally invasive aesthetic treatments.

She studied human medicine primarily in Göttingen, with clinical training placements at Charité in Berlin and in St. Gallen, Switzerland. She began her specialist training in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at the University Medical Center Göttingen. She subsequently joined the Department of Plastic, Aesthetic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery at Klinikum Ernst von Bergmann in Potsdam.

Sandra has a strong background in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine and is consistently pursuing her goal of further developing her expertise as a plastic surgeon. With ambition, empathy, and a sensitive understanding of individual needs, she supports her patients on their journey toward feeling more comfortable and confident in their bodies.

Trust, open communication on equal terms, and honest, transparent advice are particularly important to her – fully in keeping with the JJPS philosophy. For Sandra, aesthetic medicine is not about conforming to a particular ideal. Instead, it is about understanding each person’s individual wishes and anatomical characteristics and working together to develop a treatment concept that feels natural and appropriate.

Treatment Focus

Sandra expands the range of treatments available at JJPS, particularly in the field of minimally invasive aesthetics. Her main areas of treatment include:

​

• Anti-aging treatments with botulinum toxin

• Filler treatments to harmonize and contour facial features

• Thread lifting, medical needling, and chemical peels

• Regenerative treatments such as PRP, polynucleotides, and exosomes for skin rejuvenation and hair loss

• Injection lipolysis (“fat-dissolving injections”) for minimally invasive body contouring

In addition, Sandra also performs surgical procedures. One particular focus is liposuction for lipedema as well as – very deliberately “from woman to woman” – procedures in the field of female intimate surgery.

​

Natural Results, Safety and Honest Advice

For Sandra, the individual always comes first. No two bodies are the same, and not every treatment that is technically possible is necessarily appropriate for every patient. An aesthetic change should suit the individual’s personality, anatomy, and personal sense of well-being.

​

Based on her medical and surgical training, she follows the same principles as the entire JJPS medical team: comprehensive and realistic consultations, sound medical assessment, and results that are aesthetically pleasing without appearing artificial.

​

Her treatment decisions are consistently guided by medical safety and what is realistically achievable for each individual – not by short-lived trends. If she advises against a treatment or recommends an alternative approach, she does so transparently, clearly, and always with the patient’s well-being in mind.

​

In addition to German and Serbian, Sandra speaks English and French, enabling her to provide patients with comprehensive information in several languages about treatment procedures, potential risks, and realistically achievable results.

Continuing Education and Commitment

Continuous professional development and further training are an integral part of Sandra’s work as a physician. She regularly attends national and international training courses and congresses and is also involved with the humanitarian organization Interplast.

And outside of work?

Following her parental leave, we are especially pleased to welcome Sandra back to JJPS. She lives in Berlin with her husband and young son and enjoys rediscovering her hometown from the perspective of a young family.

Whenever time allows, she loves to travel and discover new countries, cultures, and perspectives. Drawing provides her with a creative balance – perhaps this is also where her particularly keen eye for proportions, shapes, and aesthetics comes from.

​

And anyone who knows Sandra only for her calm and empathetic nature may be surprised by another detail: she is a passionate martial artist and was even Berlin city champion in Taekwondo during her youth.

We are delighted to have Sandra back at JJPS after her parental leave and to have her enrich our team with her professional expertise, warm personality, and distinctive eye for aesthetics.
