All of our fillers are vegan and are produced without animal testing using a process in which the proteins are fermented from yeast!
In addition to the use of botulinum toxin, treatment with filler materials in the face has gained increasing popularity. It enables plastic surgeons with a highly developed range of products to offer you three essential treatment approaches in a minimally invasive manner and without downtime:

The restoration of volume and reduction of static, age-related wrinkles as well as the biostimulation of collagen-forming cells (fibroblasts)

Mainly hyaluronic acids are used for this. Contrary to what is often assumed, these products are really endogenous compounds based on sugar molecules and are important components of different tissues in the human body: bones, cartilage, synovial fluid, the vitreous body of the eye and also: skin! For them, hyaluronic acids are the most important moisturizer. Around 50 percent of this acid occurring in the human body is found in the intercellular spaces of the lower skin layer. Together with collagen and elastin, it forms a network that buffers and hydrates the skin from below and traps free radicals. Unfortunately, the production of hyaluronic acid in our body decreases significantly from around the age of 25. As a result, the skin loses its elasticity and volume and wrinkles form. With different degrees of cross-linking and gel structures of the hyaluronic acids, we can balance out these wrinkles in a tailor-made way, improve your appearance and emphasize your individual radiance by contouring your nose, cheeks, chin and jawline, for example, or correct asymmetries.
We only use other self-dissolving filler materials such as polylactic acid (Sculptra) or calcium hydroxyapatite (Radiesse) for a few other special indications, but these are primarily biostimulators.

Why are these fillers actually dissolvable? Wouldn't permanent fillers be much more effective and cheaper?
Permanent fillers were mostly injectable silicones or a substance called PMMA. Because the complication rate was very high, they have now been almost completely withdrawn from the market. In addition to the frequent formation of nodules (so-called granulomas), which often have to be surgically removed, these fillers remain fully intact for life, while the surrounding tissue naturally decreases. Over time, this can lead to disfiguring bumps and sometimes grotesque deformations on the face with a dramatic restriction of facial expressions.
If you don't like it or if there are complications, hyaluronic acid fillers can simply be dissolved again with an enzyme, the hylase. This is not possible with permanent fillers.
At JJPS we fundamentally reject the injection of permanent filler materials!
Again, to remember: Aesthetic medicine, cosmetic surgeon, beauty doc, etc. are not protected job titles and these self-created terms usually hide the fact that there is not sufficient qualification in the sense of a board certification for plastic and aesthetic surgery or similar. In addition, these people often do not have liability insurance and are unable to manage any complications due to their lack of medical qualifications. Please only place yourself in the hands of experienced doctors (no non-medical practitioners with a six-week crash course or similar) and always ask for the specialist title!
